Nice day for visiting Richmond !

Come to scenic Haringey. It's got me in it - though for only seven more days if my luck holds out.

Can't wait. Torn between wanting my 2 boroughs to be picked (I live on the border) to see how different they appear to an outsider and wanting one of the other 26 to get picked to find out more about them without having to do the research.

you keep slagging off Barking & Dagenham, don't you?
Don't entirely blame you, I mean I lived there for 18 years and certainly don't intend to again, but, it's not all bad, really.... if or when you go there be sure not to miss the waterfront, the Whale bones at Valence House, Eastbury Manor, Eastbrookend, the Cross Keys/Dagenham Village etc, etc, etc
It's not all bad, really... just mostly

oooh I didn't the slagging off of good ole Dagenham, only I'm allowed to do that cos I'm still stranded here! good round up of "attractions" don't forget barking abbey where capt. Cook tied the knot.

I hope it wasn't wonderful Waltham Forest..... there'd be tears if it was and you hadn't dropped in for a cup of tea ;0

And back.

And it wasn't Richmond.

And it wasn't Haringey.

And it wasn't Waltham Forest.

And it wasn't Barking & Dagenham.
(...but it will be one day, so thanks for that very useful list of places to visit)

Dagenham isn't actually that bad, after my earlier wander around Tower Hamlets and Bermondsey I can't even claim Dagenham has more morons than elsewhere. Though they do keep voting BNP...

The worst thing about Dagenham (and Barking) is that it currently stinks of partially processed shit. Here's hoping the leaky pipe at Beckton sewage works is soon fixed.

Inspector Sands,
When the wind is in the wrong direction, you can smell the shitty stink blowing over from Newham all over the borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Are you playing 'London Blockbusters' on your map? You've nearly completed a vertical line, but your opponent hasn't even started working across...

quin parker's discussion of what exactly Slade Green (bexley) smells of, on his 'guide to zone 6' website is hard to beat, it must be said

I'd hate to have visited Slade Green when it was hot.
