Just one answer to one question, please.

7. Hammersmith.

3. Chalfont & Latimer (Zone C)

3. What about Chorleywood (Zone B)?

Watford is in Zone B as well, so not Chorleywood.

1) Heathrow Terminal 4

According to the tfl tube map, Watford is in Zone A and both Chalfont & Latimer and Chorleywood are the only stations in their zones.

Anyway my answer is Mill Hill East for question 1.

4. Kew Gardens?

I have close cousins who live in Queens - and I always remember passing this station on the way to from Manhatten (World Trade Center) towards Jamaica on the E-Train. (There are a surprising number of places in Queens which share the same names as suburban London!)

7. Neasden

1. Shoreditch

6. South Ealing

7. Hornchurch

6. Mansion House

1) Chesham

5) Temple!

The TfL map is wrong. I know that Watford is Zone B because I used to live at Croxley which is the station immediately to the south of it (and is in Zone A).

Also if you look at the Tube Guru on the tube website it actually says that Watford is in Zone B.

http://tube.tfl.gov.uk/guru/index.asp

or if you have an Oystercard the map you get with it shows Watford is in Zone B.

So, don't believe everything you read. This being the obvious exception to that rule...

DG - what have you started??

Louise is right, cos she used to live just round the corner from me in Croxley (just not at the same time).

Questions fully answered: 1, 3, 5, 6

Questions still to be completed:
2) all three answers
4) one more answer
7) at least three more answers

5. Yes, Temple. But a kind-hearted and understanding quiz-master would also allow 'Saint-Paul', would he not?

7. Southfields, home sweet home...

2. New Cross and New Cross Gate.

2. New Cross and New Cross Gate .... and Shoreditch as well. An East London trilogy

7. Eastcote, Edgware.

Still needed:
2) at least one more answer
4) at least one more answer

4. Warren Street

dg writes: Warren Street is in Newark (New Jersey), not New York

question 5:

Temple/Temple in english/french french/english... you decide...

1. Clapham Common.

2. Kensington (Olympia)

4. Greenwich?

If only Greenwich was on the tube, that would be an answer. Alas it isn't.

Woodside.

'fraid not.
Woodside is a tram stop near Croydon.

Would Olympia qualify for question 1?
