I watched it tonight. I don't know why. I'm aiming not to watch it again, because it made me despair for the human race.

I agree with your analysis of Shell as the potential winner, as she's the only one who comes across even vaguely part of the human race. And that's not much, even in her case.

I don't watch this piece of voyeuristic muck, and never will, so I honestly thought you had made up all the contestants until I checked your link to the website.

Anyone out there who remembers a time when Channel Four was actually good? Ah. Right. Thought not.

Marco! Marco! Marco! clap clap clap
Marco! Marco! Marco! clap clap clap
Marco! Marco! Marco! clap clap clap

*skulks out ashamed that secretly wants Marco to win as he seems to be the only one who will actually *be* himself in that house*

yes it's crap, yes I will still end up watching it at all hours.... was going to write something but knew DG would do it and do it better... agree with winner prediction - Shell - but is she going to be too nice?

See you again in 70-odd days....

So glad I wasn't the only one who watched them all go into the house. An interesting group and far more likely to be entertaining than last year's bunch of saps. I don't want to watch it but I know I will

Re: dave's comments.

Yes, Marco is undoubtedly the only one who is being himself. And, friends, that fact is a truly horrifying one to consider.

Marco. Is. Being. Himself.

Christ on a bike.

I lost all interest in BB5 (not that there was a lot there to start with, you understand) when Marco walked in and was, as mentioned above, himself.

Dear Lord above - save us.

*looks around furtively*

Can I say this here?
OK then.
I'm LOVING BB5.

The casting is brilliant, the characters are endlessly entertaining (and after a short while, oddly likeable for the most part), and there hasn't been a dull moment yet - even on the live feeds, amazingly enough.

It has the makings of Best! BB! Evah!
There, I've said it.

OH BOY! Please don't tell me you get survivor, I am hoping the BBC has spared you that dreadful pain! ...and I also hope you don't have the Bachelor/Bachelorette -- both terrible examples of American t.v..

Reality tv is the thing right now. It's aweful! Out there replacing really creative shows for 15 minutes of fame.
