Never met him, but have spotted him in action in places we both frequent like the Coach & Horses in London's Soho. Comes across as an absolute charmer, a total gent, who can hold anyone spellbound with his often bawdy wit, but will always listen to what you've got to say. He's totally bonkers as well. Also the best and the worst thing which ever happened to Doctor Who: best because he got the highest ever ratings for the series, and established its international appeal; worst because how could any of the subsequent three telly Doctors follow *that* unforgettable seven-year performance? |

Oooh!!! Bit before my time, but they filmed Baker's last scenes as the Doctor where I work now - Crowsley Park in Oxfordshire. The TARDIS turned up on the back of a lorry. What a swizz. |
