As someone who seems to be stuck somewhere between stage 5 and 6 you have my total sympathy! |
Sympathies from me too. I came out of stage 6 over 1 week-and-a-half ago - and I am still getting over the last bits of spontaneous wheezy cough. Last bits of sputum gone. This a particularly nasty virus - seems to be storming all over country at the moment. Some local health authorities have been advertising on news, radio, TV to *not* burden GP with visits to surgery unless you really believe that you have something more serious. Otherwise you just have to sweat it out. |
Just as I suspected. Only those of us with colds can empathise with what it's like to have a cold. A pint of honey and lemon to you all! |
DG, I think it's a male thing really. Us women just get on with it. You men, well - the cold turns into flu, or a virus, or a large blog entry or worse |
i think, i'm not sure of course, but i may have just entered stage 2; i've just sneezed, a rare occurence for me, and a large warm and damp greenie is now sat on the palm of my left hand. why now? why me? |
Mrs Cheese is in full blown flu-zone and has had last week off work. I have been manfully resisting, but I woke this morning with a sore throat. Of course everytime I get a cold I think my glandular fever is coming back (it went away 3 years ago). BC |
