I was there, but I got so irritated by the number of cameras and journalists around that, despite seeing the mob go by twice, I didn't bother joining in. I did hear the cheer, however.

I'm with Vanessa on this. Covent Garden is the last place in London where people acting oddly are going to stand out. In fact there's very few places in London where people acting oddly get more than a second glance.

ok, so yesterday's mob doesn't sound too cool, but in the right setting and at the right time, it 's great. The last one (soho square) certainly was. Hope it hasn't put people off.
